The IS2000 Software is a 32-bit application that was natively written for Windows XP/2000/2003. Database information is downloaded from the software to Controllers via channels. These channels can be of the following types: serial, Ethernet, and/or dial-up. Each Controller stores all relevant data tables, and makes intelligent decisions based on field events. Because of this distributed intelligent network architecture, access control and security decisions are made and recorded, even if communications is lost with the main computer.
